Off to the City Market in Kansas City, Missouri, for Caitlin and Manuel's farmers market family portraits. I have been photographing this gorgeous family for SIX years now and every session has been a dream. Let me tell you, this year was no exception! Walking around the Kansas City's River Market and watching Manuel and Caitlin help Colin select his fruits and veggies was simply adorable. You can see Colin processing their instructions as he picks up, squeezes, and smells the fruit. Adorable! He has grown into such a considerate young man and has definitely come out of shell! Colin did all the crazy stuff I asked him to do, with unabashed excitement. I mean seriously, this kid is just too CUTE!!!

Caitlin and Manuel, I am eternally honored that you have chosen to let amyMELITOphotography document your family memories. It has been a distinct privilege to see your family grow with each passing year; from Colin's little itty bitty toesies to his squishy cheeks to his great big toothy smile, I have loved every moment! ... And now I just realized that this post has been practically entirely about Colin! But how could it not, right?!? You two know that I love you guys and your adventurous spirits!
