This is hands down one of my favorite sessions from this year! With a couple of my favorite humans... and doughnuts!!! I arrived in Columbia, Missouri, and headed straight for downtown to Harold's Doughnuts where I met up with Megan and Levi and this little bundle of energy, Jackson. This was the seventh year I've photographed this growing family and every time I have a blast! Thanks to Megan and Levi's trust, we have done some pretty awesome stuff, like: golfing and eating ice cream, trekking through the wilderness, and taking leisurely strolls by the river, just to name a few. And this year Levi and Megan were THRILLED at the idea of possibly going to Harold's Doughnuts (they love, love, love these doughnuts)! Well after a few emails we locked in the location!!! As you will see throughout this post, most of the session was just about having fun. My favorite moments are when everyone is at their most comfortable and just living in the moment. By now, these guys are all pros so I just loosely have them in a spot and then let them do their thing. These candid moments are what make my job so worthwhile!
Thank you, Harold's Doughnuts for opening your doors to us on a day you are usually closed and letting us play! Megan and Levi, thank you for inviting me into your family and watch as you all grow. I have simply adored every moment and continue to wish you guys only the very best! Thank you for the memories, I will treasure them always! Enjoy...
