Although Janet and Heath do not live in San Antonio, the Historic Menger Hotel was the perfect location for their wedding day. Heath is in the Army and a while back was sent to Texas for some training. Janet hopped along and it was on this trip that the two fell in love. Quickly after spending time in San Antonio, staying at the Menger and visiting the Alamo and the Riverwalk, they couldn't help but fall in love with the city too.
Fast forward to this summer when Janet and Heath's closest friends and family journeyed to the spot where their relationship became official, to celebrate their love. The ceremony was beautiful with new traditions. And to make it more special, Janet's father was the officiant! The room was filled with so much happiness, it was contagious! Janet and Heath, I am so very thankful for the honor and trust you placed in me to document your big day. You, your friends, and your families could not have been more kind and welcoming. I wish you nothing but the warmest and happiest of wishes on your life together. As always, enjoy...
Starting it of with a few bridal portraits...
Janet not only is your dress gorgeous but you look radiant!
Janet's entourage...
Who doesn't love a man in uniform???
I love all the personal touches, like Heath's sons (Dylan and Owen) walking the two of them down the aisle.
Janet and Heath also transformed and personalized an old Irish hand fasting ceremony
to instead include their treasured pendant and dog tags (respectively).

Out and about the Menger Hotel...
Now off to The Alamo just after sunset...
One of my favorites!
This just also happened to be Owen's birthday. He was pleasantly surprised to get his very own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake!
Dylan gave such a such a sweet toast congratulating the bride and groom and officially welcoming Janet to the family.
Congratulations!!!
Much love!
