Julio and Eduardo share a 21st century love story which began online. Eduardo had moved back to Texas after serving in the army and was looking for a way to connect with people his own age, with similar interests. Julio, the hopeless romantic, found himself giving love another try.
In June of 2014, Julio came across Ed's profile on a popular dating site and found that they were practically a perfect match. Julio, the ultimate optimist, took a chance and reached out to Ed. Within a week they had their first date, and a couple glasses of wine, on June 12, 2014, and have been together ever since traveling, exploring, cooking, and finding home within each other.
In June of 2018, shortly after their fourth anniversary, Eduardo proposed to Julio solidifying what they both already knew. Ed and Julio had each found the person they saw sharing the rest of their lives with.
As their fifth anniversary approached, Julio and Eduardo knew exactly how they wanted to celebrate, with a wedding! They shared an intimate ceremony enveloped by love from those closest to them. Ed and Julio are just as excited to be stepping into the next phase in their lives together as they were when they met for that first date, five years ago.

What a beautiful story!!! These two were both full of so much energy on their wedding day, you could practically feel the hum of excitement radiating off of them. Vows of support with promises made with happy tears, laughter, and a lot of love, I have no doubt that they will have a truly happy life together. There's a superstition that says to give knives as a wedding present is to invite chaos into the marriage. Although the cake cutting knife used here was not a gift, per se, I'm going to consider it great fortune that the knife broke apart!
