Bethany+Brandon :: At Home Wedding :: Kansas City, Missouri

:: THEIR STORY ::

 Bethany and Brandon went to high school together but it wasn't until after Bethany graduated that they began dating. They met because their good friends were dating each other and they would all hang out. After a little stint of separation, Bethany left for college at FSU and Brandon finished his senior year of high school, they reunited just after Brandon joined the army and was stationed just a few hours away.

 Sixteen years later, Brandon asked a question. With the help of his best friend, Dave, a surprise proposal began. On the eve of their vacation with Dave and his wife, Erin, Brandon and Dave devised a romantic plan to surprise Bethany (who knew that Brandon had a special ring with him). She thought he might propose on their vacation trip. But surprise! While enjoying an ordinary dinner out, the waiter served Bethany with champagne and roses and, she finds a ring at the bottom of her glass!!! Brandon gets up and goes to Bethany and asks if she would marry him. And Bethany, of course, said yes!
...................................................
 Oh I'm tearing up, again! Is that not a beautiful story?!? I can just see it happening. You see, Bethany is one of my dearest friends from high school. And I treasure her friendship and our memories. Oh... the memories!!! We may not talk that often but Bethany is one of the people that helped shaped me to become the person I am today. And I am truly humbled and honored to have been asked to document their wedding.

 Okay, so Brandon and Bethany's wedding was scheduled to take place at Hilton Head in South Carolina. But because of Hurricane Matthew, their plans changed last minute. Bethany's parents offered their home to serve as the spot for their daughters wedding. And it was perfect! This wasn't the beach, this wasn't what was planned, but when it came down to it... this day was truly beautiful, and filled with so much emotion! Bethany and Brandon, I cannot thank you enough for the honor of asking me to be a part of this day. It means the world to me. I wish you two a lifetime of blissful happiness and much love. As always, enjoy...

Okay... so back in high school whenever everyone would meet up at Bethany's house we would inevitably play pool.
Bethany being the little shark she is, I had to get a couple photos for our past selves.
