Last month I traveled to Missouri where I got see these guys again (see their past session here), only this time there were four of them! I finally got to meet Lyla, who admittedly did not warm up to the crazy camera lady (that would be me) until the end. But in her defense she just woke up from a nap and then had scraped her face on the sidewalk just as we were beginning. The poor thing, but she powered through and I got some genuine, ear to ear smiles out of her in the end.
What I love about lifestyle sessions (which are sessions that take place in your home) is that you're surrounded by all your knickknacks and whatnots. Your life can be documented doing the daily activities that take place in your home, to truly preserve your memories. You will soon see that, after some traditional posed portraits, Eli and Lyla enjoyed riding bikes, drawing with chalk in the driveway, playing with puzzles, reading books, and even chowing down on some yummy ice cream sandwiches. Amber and Chris, thank you again for letting me into your home and into your lives. It was (and is) such an honor! As always, enjoy...
Here come the smiles!!!
Well, unless Dad tries to give Lyla a kiss
